Summary: Use the Header widget to add clear section titles to a dashboard and make longer pages easier to scan.
Updated: 2026-04-03

Use **Header** when the dashboard needs structure, not another chart or table.

This widget helps you break a long dashboard into clear sections so people can understand the page more quickly.

## Navigation

Open a dashboard, enter edit mode if needed, then choose **Add widget**.

Use **Header** when you want to label a section of the dashboard or create a clearer visual flow from top to bottom.

## When to use it

The Header widget is a display-only widget.

It shows text on the dashboard and does not collect data or open a detailed working view.

## Add the widget

1. Open a dashboard.
2. Click **Add widget**.
3. Choose **Header**.

## Configure the header

When the widget opens:

1. Enter the title text.
2. Adjust the text size if needed.
3. Turn on centered alignment if that fits the page better.
4. Save the widget.

## When to use Header

Use **Header** when you want to:

- separate sections on a long dashboard
- label a group of related widgets
- create a stronger opening section before the main content starts

## Tips

- Keep the wording short and obvious.
- Use it to break a large dashboard into meaningful sections.
- Avoid using too many headers on a short dashboard.
