# TV App Overview

Summary: tv.zira.us puts dashboards on large screens above work centers for at-a-glance KPI awareness, with no interaction needed.

The **TV App** is a variant of Zira built for large shared screens. It runs at **tv.zira.us** and is designed to be shown on TVs mounted above work centers so a whole team can see key metrics at a glance.

It follows the same idea as the [Operations App](/docs/operations-app/overview), but for **display only**. Where an operator uses the Operations App on a tablet to work and report, the TV App simply shows information on a big screen — no one needs to touch it.

## Who it is for

The TV App is for teams that want shared visibility on the floor: operators, supervisors, and anyone walking past a work center should be able to see how things are going without opening the app themselves.

## What it is for

- **KPI awareness** — show throughput, quality, downtime, and other key metrics on a big screen.
- **Shared visibility** — give a whole area the same live view above the work center.
- **Always-on display** — keep running full screen without anyone needing to interact.

## How it is different from the other apps

- It runs at **tv.zira.us**, separate from **my.zira.us** and **op.zira.us**.
- It is built for **large screens and TVs**, not phones, tablets, or computers.
- It is **display-only** — there is no day-to-day interaction, so it fits a screen mounted out of reach.
- It is meant to stay on continuously above a work center.

## What you see

The TV App shows the dashboards and screen setups you configure in Zira, presented full screen for a large display and readable from across the floor.
