Creating a new data source now feels much more guided from the very first click. This update brings a cleaner create flow, better AI template browsing, and a brand-new AI Builder assistant for drafting custom schemas inside the editor.

## A better first step

- **Add Data Source** now opens a more guided create dialog directly.
- AI-focused options are highlighted first, while collector-based site options remain available below.
- **Add Existing Data Source** is now part of the same create surface instead of a separate first step.

## AI templates are easier to choose

- **AI-Vision** and **AI Pallet QA and Routing** now stay inside the same dialog when you move into template selection.
- Templates are shown as cards with descriptions, so it is easier to understand what each setup is for before creating the data source.
- The template flow still finishes by creating and attaching the data source to the current channel.

## Custom schemas now have AI Assist

- The custom data-source editor now includes **AI Assist**.
- You can describe the structure you want, and the assistant can draft a title, description, and first-pass field list directly into the editor.
- Suggested fields are shown with more detail before you apply them, including field type, metric matching, validation, options, and expressions when relevant.
