Data Table

Use the Data Table widget to show form or reading rows with selected columns, filters, and optional edit-friendly behavior.

Use Data Table when people need row-level values instead of a chart summary.

This widget is useful when the dashboard should support detailed review, not only high-level numbers.

Navigation

Open a dashboard, enter edit mode if needed, then choose Add widget.

Use Data Table when the dashboard should show detailed rows from a form or data source.

When to use it

The Data Table widget appears as a table on the dashboard.

It can focus on selected columns and filters so the table stays useful and readable.

Add the widget
  1. Open a dashboard.
  2. Click Add widget.
  3. Choose Data Table.
Choose the data source
  1. Select the form or data source.
  2. Choose which columns should be visible.
  3. Add filters if needed.

Depending on the setup flow, you may also choose:

  • the widget name
  • whether the table should open in a more edit-friendly mode
When to use Data Table

Use Data Table when:

  • people need to inspect individual rows
  • the dashboard should support detailed review instead of only summary views
  • field-level visibility matters
Tips
  • Keep the visible columns focused.
  • Use filters so the table does not become too large to scan.
  • Pair the table with a KPI or chart when people need both summary and detail.
