Feed
Use the Feed widget to show channel activity, posts, alerts, reports, people updates, and task-related activity inside a dashboard.
Use Feed when people should be able to follow recent activity without leaving the dashboard.
This widget helps the dashboard stay connected to real activity, not only charts and totals.
Navigation
Open a dashboard, enter edit mode if needed, then choose Add widget.
Use Feed when you want an activity timeline on the dashboard.
When to use it
The Feed widget appears as a scrolling activity area on the dashboard.
It can be shaped around selected channels and selected activity types.
Add the widget
- Open a dashboard.
- Click Add widget.
- Choose Feed.
Configure the feed
When the widget opens:
- Enter the widget name.
- Select the channels that should feed into the widget.
- Choose which activity types should be included.
- Add hashtag filtering if needed.
- Save the widget.
The widget can be shaped around activity such as:
- reports
- alerts
- people updates
- tasks
When to use Feed
Use Feed when:
- activity matters as much as metrics
- users need a recent operational timeline
- the dashboard should stay connected to post and alert traffic from selected channels
Tips
- Choose only the channels that matter for the dashboard.
- Use hashtags to reduce noise.
- Pair this widget with summary widgets when the dashboard needs both context and data.
