Set Up a TV

Put tv.zira.us on a large screen above a work center for always-on, hands-off KPI awareness.

Use this guide to put a TV or large screen on the floor with the TV App. The goal is a screen mounted above a work center that shows key metrics all day without anyone needing to touch it.

This is set up once by a supervisor or admin and then left running.

Before you start
Open the TV App
  1. On the device connected to the screen, open a browser.
  2. Go to tv.zira.us.
  3. Sign in with the account that should run this screen.
Choose what the screen shows
  1. In the TV App, open the dashboard or TV display setup for this work center.
  2. Confirm the metrics are readable from across the floor.
  3. Leave it on that view.

If you want the screen to rotate through several dashboards, set that up first in the channel's TVs tab, then open that TV setup here. See TVs.

Make it always-on and hands-off

Because no one interacts with the TV App, set the screen up to run on its own:

  • Open the TV App full screen on the device's browser.
  • Set the display and device to stay awake and never sleep.
  • Have the screen power on to tv.zira.us automatically where possible, so it recovers after a power cut.
  • Mount the screen above the work center where the team can see it.
Tips
  • Use a dedicated account per screen so the right dashboard loads automatically.
  • Pick large, high-contrast dashboards that read well from a distance.
  • Keep the screen on continuous power so it stays live through the shift.
  • Use the channel TVs setup when one screen should rotate through several views.
