Operations App Overview

op.zira.us is the tablet-first Operations App operators use for day-to-day work, reporting, and KPI awareness.

The Operations App is a variant of Zira built for operators on the floor. It runs at op.zira.us and is designed for tablets placed at or near a work center.

Where the main Zira app is built for browsing and management across a computer or phone, the Operations App focuses on the operational dashboard for a single station or area — so an operator can see what matters and act during their shift.

Who it is for

The Operations App is for operators and floor staff who need a simple, always-on view of their work center. It is typically set up by a supervisor or admin and then left running for the whole shift.

What operators use it for
  • Day-to-day operations — follow the live operational dashboard for their station or line.
  • Reporting — capture readings, fill forms, and record what is happening on the floor.
  • KPI awareness — keep an eye on throughput, quality, downtime, and other key metrics in real time.
How it is different from the main app
  • It runs at op.zira.us, separate from my.zira.us.
  • It is designed for tablets rather than phones or computers.
  • It usually runs in kiosk mode — full screen, focused on the operational dashboard, with minimal navigation.
  • It is meant to stay on and in place at the work center, not to be carried around.
What you see

The Operations App shows the operational dashboard configured for that station or area — the same dashboards and metrics you build in Zira, presented for quick reading and reporting at the work center.
